We are well into the throes of winter and it's left me feeling uninspired. Since our winter landscape has been non-stop dreary and gray, tackling something more colorful just felt right. Much of the color at this time of year has to be invented or found indoors, which is what I did here. The idea for the cherries was "borrowed" from a lovely photo I found online. Since it in no way does justice to the original, I don't think I'll be sued for copyright infringement.
More snow is falling today. My next attempt might be a snowy scene or two, since there will be lots to work with.
